Xiao Qun works as an elephant keeper at the local zoo, while Xiao Ling runs a small clothing shop. The two women meet and fall in love. When Xiao Qun's mother moves in with her daughter, the new lovers' life becomes difficult as she doesn't know her daughter is gay. To make matters even more complicated, Xiao Qun's former girlfriend Junjun shows up at the zoo asking for help: she is running from the police after killing her father to stop his sexual abuse. Xiao Qun decides to help her although this means putting the trust of her new lover in jeopardy.
