Filmmaker currently based in Cambridge, MA. His first feature film, DER IRRATIONALE REST (THE IRRATIONAL REMAINS), premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and won numerous awards around the world. His earlier film and theater work have been presented at venues such as the Locarno Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam and on european television. Currently he teaches filmmaking and film studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Boston University. He is also a fellow at the MIT Open Documentary Lab, where he is working on a new project.
