Jonas Mekas shot this footage during the final performance of the 1972 Elvis concert series in New York. The event and the people were so wild that nobody paid any attention to his filming. When the VIENNALE asked for a festival trailer, he immediately thought of that footage. A coincidence led Mekas to use a Strauss waltz with the images of a frenetic Elvis.
