Along 99 individual images from 99 works by 99 filmmakers since 1945 (each selected and described by international writers, artists and publicists from the fields of criticism, film theory and science), a topography of Austrian cinema unfolds between feature film, experiment and documentary. With contributions by Raymond Bellour, Nicole Brenez, Ann Cotten, Florentina Holzinger, Elfriede Jelinek, Anna Jermolaewa, Gertrud Koch, Jonathan Meese, Caroline Peters, Milo Rau, Kathrin Röggla, Georg Seeßlen, Clemens J. Setz, Peter Waterhouse, Apichatpong Weerasethakul and many more.
