In 2013 we had the pleasure to welcome Will Ferrell as our guest of honour. It was a special year for the US-American Comedy at the Viennale as our retrospective at the same time presented the work of Jerry Lewis. How Ferrell interacts with the unfamiliar setting of a festival and switches between humorous and serious statements can be seen during this audience talk at Gartenbaukino. In the end Mr. Ferrell really interacted with the audience as he ran through the room to give away T-shirts and even signed a diploma thesis.
