This documentary about the famous and beloved Austrian poet H.C. Artmann was shot shortly before his death in December 2000. His daughter, Emily, and his niece, Katharina, chose a very personal angle in a very intimate situation, and manage to portray this fascinating man with all his wit, his rich memories, and his unbroken will to live. The result is a film that transcends the limits of the usual portrait of an artist.
