KAJRAT

A train pulls out of a village station in the Kazakh steppe. Among its passengers is 20-year-old Kairat, on his way to Almaty to continue his studies at the university. However, he is expelled from university for unruly behavior. He starts working as a bus driver. One day, he meets a striking young woman. He learns that her name is Indira, that she is a student and that she works as a stewardess on trains. When he picks her up from a train a few days later, he sees her with a colleague and is very disappointed.
