Grandmother Emilia turns eighty-four. When her extended family comes over to celebrate, Emilia receives a call from her sister in Misiones with the news that her niece is to be married. Emilia asks the whole family to accompany her to the ceremony, so they all load into their motor home sons, daughters, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to travel to the wedding near the Brazilian border. Family dramas attraction between cousins, old jealousies brought back to the surface, emergency trips to the dentist and incidents of road rage play out over the course of the trip and conspire to drive Grandmother crazy.
