VIENNALE 2019 - V'BLOG AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Dear colleagues,
we are pleased to inform you that this year the Viennale will present itself in a new form in its V'Blog as well as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. On all channels, the aim will be to announce exclusive information on the programme, to unearth extraordinary material on Viennale films and their makers and to accompany the festival as observers.
Starting now you will find two new sections in the V'Blog: In "Materials" you can discover materials that filmmakers have made available to us in advance and exclusively. These are texts, images, quotations, found objects, set photos, etc. which inspired them or document their work. In "With the Films" filmmakers, critics and curators answer a questionnaire about their lives with cinema. During the festival, videos with current contributions and on-site interviews will further enliven the blog.
The Viennale will also be very active on social media and offer attractive content. From October 5 to 14, a previously unpublished film from the festival programme will be announced daily on Facebook. Portraits of Viennale cinemas on Instagram, live tweets of talks and discussions and photo galleries accompanying the festival will provide a new, more comprehensive and vivid look at the Viennale.
