Born in 1967 in Irvine, California. It was while performing with The groundlings, a popular Los Angeles improv troupe, in the early 90’s, that he first caught the attention of “Saturday Night Live” and was subsequently working as a cast member from 1995 to 2002. He graduated from the cast of “SNL” and found huge success in Hollywood, starring in numerous box office hits including ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY, TALLADEGA NIGHTS and BLADES OF GLORY. He is considered a member of the socalled “Frat Pack”, a generation of leading Hollywood comic actors. in 2007, together with director Adam mcKay, he launched “Funny or Die”, a streaming comedy- website. He was nominated for the golden globe Award for THE PRODUCERS and STRANGER THAN FICTION. Will Ferrell lives in Los Angeles.
