Born in Paris, in 1968. Studied art history and following to two short films (IL FAUT QUE JE L’AIME, LES CORPS OUVERTS) shot his first feature film with the coming-out story PRÈSQUE RIEN (2000). After LA TRAVERSÉE (2001, Viennale) his first great success is WILD SIDE (2004).
