KICK OFF FOR THE VIENNALE PRE-SALE 2012

Like last year the first hours of the pre-sale ran almost without any problems. A successful start for the Viennale 2012.

Like every year a few film-enthusiasts started queuing already in the early morning and the waiting linen constantly got bigger and bigger until the waiting-numbers were handed out at 10 am sharp. From that time on people were able to enjoy a warm coffee at a coffee-house nearby or even had the possibility to go back home, since physical presence was no longer needed. But those who kept waiting, also got their treats as numerous goodies from our sponsors, Erste Bank and Vöslauer, as well as a small breakfast sponsored by A1 were handed out.

But also online there were hardly any problems even though the Viennale changed the design of the website for its 50-year anniversary. After a very short delay the online pre-sale started a few minutes after 10 am and went down without any major issues. A fact, that resulted in many positive comments and great feedback.
