Media partners of all sorts are accompanying the Viennale and contribute to an intensive communication about the festival. Some are producing special editions and formats for the festival, which we would like to present to you here.
Viennale-Standard in seven editions
The daily newspaper DER STANDARD produces four special supplements accompanying the festival, in which the festival happenings and film program are reported on a daily basis.
Dates of publication: Fri Oct 14, Thurs Oct 20, Tue Oct 25 and Sat Oct 29.
In the attractive Falter-supplement to the Viennale you can find brief descriptions and dates of all films, as well as informative background reports on all the main focuses of the festival and its guests.

The cinema magazine SKIP publishes the popular SKIP special edition for the festival – including a helpful program guide, several interviews and exciting stories. Infos on the Viennale you can also find at www.skip.at - a supplement to the october-edition of SKIP will be published.
ray Filmmagazine and www.ray-magazin.at
The ray film magazine has a 12 pages Viennale special in its October edition.
Ray-authors publish during the festival their impressions and critics live from the V´16. Every day on www.ray-magazin.at
Celluloid Viennale Special 2016
The Celluloid filmmagazin dedicates a special edition to the Viennale, including background stories of the program line, interviews and the useful festival-guide. Infos about the Viennale and the magazine can be found online at www.celluloid-filmmagazin.com - there will also be a supplement to the Wiener Zeitung.
Ö1-Frühstückskino (Breakfast-Cinema) and «Von Tag zu Tag»
Ö1 dedicates two matinees to the audience on Tuesday October 25th and November 2th, each at 6.30 a.m. at the Stadtkino im Gartenbaukino. Rainer Rosenberg invites a Viennale guest into the studio to his show «Von Tag zu Tag»
During the whole month of October the Viennale forms a main focus for the cultural commentatorship of FM4. The highlight are five specials in the Homebase with several guests, film tips and tombolas. Again online this year at fm4.orf.at/viennale
Viennale Special and a report on ORF
The film editorial of the ORF will report about the Viennale in «matinee» (October 16) and in "Kulturmontag" (October 17 and 24) and several shows of the «ZIB».
ORF Vienna delivers program recommendations by actors and film producers in "Wien Heute" (daily at 7 pm, ORF2) as well as several reports on the festival - also on Air on Radio Wien, frequence 89.9 | 95.3.

The on-line time daily is reporting on derStandard.at/Viennale in detail about the festival and provides its users with numerous program tips and and further information - additional to the newspaper.
Viennale-Diary on Infoscreen – your city channel
For eleven years the festival has been accompanied by INFOSCREEN, the medium in public space, in form of the popular Viennale Diary. Starting October 11th, INFOSCREEN will be informing about current film highlights, concerts, specials and discussions of the V’16.
Beside the daily coverage of the Viennale W24, a transmitting station from Vienna, presents filmtips from Hans Hurch. The interview-format «Stadtgespräch» attend to a Viennale guest and the «W24-TV-Radl» movies with festivalguests through the citiy. All over the year on Viennale Donnerstag (first Thursday every month) W24 broadcasts a documentation recommended by the Viennale festival.
