Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1972. Studied Film at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg and economics at the University of Cologne and in Rio de Janeiro. Has been working as a freelance filmmaker and has been shooting numerous short and feature films since 2000.
