Alex Ross Perry (USA 2017)
For his current assignment, the 40-year-old archivist Nick gets a trainee half his age to help. Nicks wife and her sister, at the same time his clients, see this with mistrust. With a calmly moving camera Perry examines the increasingly complicated tension resulting from this complex constellation. In a succession of atmospheric vignettes, he sketches gender as well as generation differences, which are then negotiated in dialogues conducted with a sharp blade. This goes for blood, but you can not see it flow.
