ZWICKEL AUF BIZYCKEL

1969. The students’ movement is in full swing. An Ulm student collective, among whose members are Reinhard Kahn and Michel Leiner, embarks on a project entitled “Auf der Suche nach dem Glück”. Shot with amateur actors at original locations, the film blends documentary and fiction. Some of the vast amount of footage shot for the project was made into Zwickel auf Bizyckel. Never shown at the time of its making, Reinhard Kahn und Michel Leiner reworked an extant work print of the film in 1997.
