In Cinevardaphoto, a title that aptly summarizes the continuity between her beginnings in photography and her film career, Agnès Varda questions the links between these two activities. In three short films shot over 40 years, Agnès Varda explores various ways of associating photography and film. The role an image can play, its ability to convey meaning make sense have always appealed to her: «The most fascinating thing with an image, is that people never say what you expect them to, everyone has their own vision of any photograph.»
