TURHAN BEY – VOM GLÜCK VERFOLGT. WIEN-HOLLYWOOD-RETOUR

Turhan Bey, half-Turkish, half-Jewish Austrian emigree to Hollywood, was one of the stars of the 40s. He acted in more than 40 films, and was well-known for his good looks and his «exotic» charme. Viennese actress Andrea Eckert paid him several visits. Turhan Bey talks about his fascinating life and career which he abandoned in the early 50s, just like that. Today, at 80, he lives a reclusive life in his Vienna house, walking his dog and busying himself with his favorite hobby, photography.
