Abe, Ben, and Josh are three brothers. They work together in a fabric shop on Manhattan's Lower East Side. It's Saturday morning and they are having lunch at their mother's in Brooklyn, just like any other Saturday. The atmosphere is very joyful, very alive. The older brothers make fun of Josh who is still single. They all sit down to eat together. It's a perfect portrait of a very close Jewish family. That same afternoon Josh is brutally shot to death in front of his brothers. After Josh's funeral, Abe feels confused and wants to get to the root of what happened. Abe wants to find out the truth about his brother's life. What was his secret? Who was he? In his quest for the truth Abe will discover he didn't know his brother and that his own life doesn't allow him to be himself.
