In 1975 Varda filmed a portrait of the Paris Street Daguerre, named after one of the pioneers of photography, where she lived for over 40 years. The owners of the shops and their customers talk about their lives, loves, troubles and desires. Agnes Varda pieces together with humor, love and gentle nostalgia the colorful mosaic of daily life in Paris of the seventies.
