Marion is successful. She dates three guys at the same time. All three think they’re the father of her unborn child. Then she has an abortion and a holiday. One of her boyfriends loses his sense of smell, another falls into a water tank, the third dies in the Amazon jungle. Marion will nearly die as well. (A film that millions love) Am Ama Am Amazonas is no conventional feature but a mosaic of vibrant, subtly comic everyday scenes at whose centre is a three-timing model. It was shot in and around Frankfurt/Main during 1969 by a film collective involving Reinhard Kahn and Michel Leiner.
