In this episode of his 1990 film Dreams, the Japanese master filmmaker Kurosawa Akira warned of a national calamity and a nuclear disaster in his home country. Akafuji is a horrible portent of the multiple nuclear meltdowns at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant in March 2011.
