A Labour of Love

Everyone who thinks Peter Kubelka is an extraordinary cook, who was awarded the Eckart-Witzigmann-Award for lifetime achievement, is half-wrong. But on the other hand it’s not entirely right either to describe the artist as experimental filmmaker. The reason is Peter Kubelka has so many facets that pointing out all of them would exceed the scope of this announcement. Even four hours of film are not enough, but at least it’s a start.
